Simon's Seat Regional Event
20th March 2005

Simons Seat is an area on the higher part of Barden Fell with magnificent views over Upper Whafedale. The fell is interupted by a number of rocky outcrops - Simon's Seat itself together with Truckle Crags, Lord's Seat and Earl's Seat. This is shooting country from August to December and in March you will see the red grouse who stays all year round.
The fell is part of Bolton Abbey Estate and the car parking charge (of £4) at Barden Bridge allows entrance to other Estate car parks. We have a strict limit of 200 cars so please share a lift if you can.

Entry on the Day News Due to the 200 cars limit EOD is restricted to people travelling with pre-entered competitors.
Subject to Map availability.
