New Year's Day

For once, conditions on Ilkley Moor were more favourable for running than the snowier parks of Leeds and there was a good turn-out of Airienteers and friends.
Inclement conditions make headwear
de rigueur on the moor in view of the possible consequences of disease, decease, worms, ducks, cannibalism and all that.  The flamboyant club response was led by the Fale family who won the prize for the best hats.
The best junior girl scorer was Florence Haines and the best boy Joe Woodley.
Dave Hodkinson was streets ahead in the 60 minute score and Neomi Cerny
highest scoring woman.

Thankyou Haines family for giving us an excellent event and open house for lunch afterwards. Sarah's Yorkshire quiz  kept us amused even further.
