Happy New Year everyone, hope you're all fit and well for 2004's orienteering and have had enjoyable Christmas and New Year celebrations. The following months see the arrival of the Start Squad and summer tour selection races, in which I am sure many of you will be competing, and I wish you the best of luck. Below are the dates for all the selection races, these can also be found in Route Choice 5.  If you want to be considered for
selection for a summer tour you must perform well in at least three of these races; however many of you have already proven you can do this and are already in the Start Squad- but you still have to do the selection races and get reselected!          Joe

AIRE JUNIORS WIN NATIONAL JUNIOR CLUB COMPETITION

Aire have snatched the mantle of leading English Junior O Club from
Nottinghamshire OC, who had held the Yvette Baker Trophy for the
past 4 years.
In the final in Norfolk today we beat 8 club heat winners from around the country.      The top 3 positions could not have been closer.
3rd Nottingham OC 879 points,   2nd Walton Chasers 880 points,
1st Airienteers 881 points
Congratulations to all the Juniors who made the long trip.
