JK Flier to be translated into several European languages and distributed far and wide
The competition is set in the heart of Yorkshire in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales (Bronte Country) and the North York Moors (Herriot Country). After the orienteering, sample our heritage, including Castles, Stately Homes, and Gardens.
Event Centre & Accommodation
Boston Spa High School (300km north of London, 15km north east of Leeds) will be the focal point for the weekend, and a full programme of socials is planned. It also provides camping and caravanning, limited bedrooms, and floor space.
Travel
Good rail service from London (3 hours), Newcastle (2 hours), Manchester (2 hours). All these cities have airports, although Leeds-Bradford airport is nearest.
Training
Friday, 14th April - Park-O around stately home, within 10 miles of the Event Centre.
Competitions
Saturday 15th - White Horse in Ryedale - intricately contoured mixed woodland, on steep sided valleys, Sunday 16th April - Ilkley combines a steep rocky hillside and high-speed orienteering across fast open moorland. Results on accumulated times
Monday 17th April - RELAYS (club teams). Close to the Event Centre in the grounds of Bramham Park, world famous for the horse trials.

I need to include a December Event and a Feb and April event. These will probably be
19th December - EPOC - Honley Woods
Feb and April tbc but will be other YHOA club events not yet announced.

The League is aiming to include an event-per-month. Put the dates in your diary  now
