Rosie and Jeff Mason

It's been a pleasure to receive so much copy for this edition so that we have felt almost like 'editors'.  We apologise where our neglect has missed bits that you sent ages ago and our rush to deadline has led to the brutal scything of the treasurable expansive commentary (just made that up) and the busy bailing out when the emails come flooding in on the first of the month.
Keep them coming and we'll do our best to squeeze it all in.  Deadline for the next issue is a bit later as we're planning to report on the British Relays, as well as BOC and JK--oo--golly--but we'd like you to have May AA in time to be
re-reminded of the Jack Bloor Races.

The history of TNR continues to produce reminiscence (with even more from down-under in May) and TNRs are also branching out into TARs.  Events are covered by a growing number of reporters though we have neglected maps and pictures in favour of the printed word.
This isn't our response to policy statements about publishing photographs (for which see the committee notes p.25).  Rather it's the our shortage of
pics and lack of time to redraw / copy
