Discussion of the league format has been keeping 'smartgroups' busy of late.Which events to include ? ...general view seems to be to stay with the initial idea of encouraging all members to take part by using the most local events
However, Simon Brook calculated that out of 202 members listed in the league last year, only 34 completed at least 7 events on which the winning places were decided.

How to calculate the scores ? ….  Neil Stevens notes that the present handicap system favours the Tom Crowthers and Victoria Stevens but the fastest runners in minutes per km were Neil Conway, Peter Haines and Ben Stevens.
