Airienteers Night Event    22 November 2003
TEMPLE NEWSAM, LEEDS

Car Parking:  Signposted from the A63 Selby Road at Halton
           Parking at Grid Ref: SE 354324 (near the running track)
          (note: NOT the usual car park near the farm)
Registration:  Open from 4:30pm 
Starts:             from 5:00pm to 6:30pm      Courses close at 8:00pm
Courses:          Long       5.3km
            Medium   4.1km
            Short       1.6km   (technically easy)
            Introductory  1.1km   (for beginners)
Fees:            £3.50 adults       £1.50 children and concessions
Map:             1:10,000     pre-marked with the course, and bagged. 
             CONVENTIONAL PUNCHING WILL BE USED (not S.I.).   
Terrain:            Mixture of fast open grass fields and mixed woodland, hence the
   slightly longer course lengths than usual.  This event will reach                parts of the estate other events haven't reached!

Please note:  Competitors are responsible for their own safety, and you take part in the event at your own risk.  Orienteering at night presents different challenges to that during the day; please prepare accordingly.  Don't forget to bring your torch!
