Sincere apologies for the difficulties so many of you had with September's AA. The printers were most apologetic and rectified their mistake with addresses as soon as the fault was identified. It was very frustrating as we'd tried for a quick production because a lot of the copy was time sensitive!! Thank you to all members who rallied round in true Blitz spirit! This time it's the postal dispute that is causing us headaches!!
Thank you to all our contributors and to everyone who is ensuring that events and activities are offered in the future. Dave Shelley has produced a new Helper Team list which becomes active on December 1st. The Results and Finish teams will become the SI Admin Team. Aireport will have three teams just like other event tasks. Happy helping!
In this issue we've tried to cover three sorts of hard work by members: the running of the club by the committee reflected at the AGM, the organisation, preparation and planning of the Dales Weekend and some of the competitive successes of Airienteers, especially the
juniors. And there's a good list of local events and TNRs to look forward to.
As the next issue will be January, the Editorial Team would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2004 . Joe, Jeff and Rosie
See you at the Social, 8pm Thurs. Dec 18 at the White Hart, Pool -in- Wharfedale and at Ilkley Moor on January 1st 2004. See p28 for Sarah's invitation.
