POC Current News (January 2012)
|
|
Beckett Park: July 2009. All posts are there. Post Q is not fixed in the ground - the post is there but just propped against a bush and may disappear at any time. All other posts OK at last checking. Danefield: Dec 2011. All the posts are there. Post B is 10m south of its original position, but is marked correctly on the downloadable map. Post M is lying on its side in the depression. I am asking Leeds to replace it. On the beginners' course, Post X has lost part of its top but is very visible. Ilkley Moor: Dec 2011. All the posts are there. This is probably the hardest of the three Wharfedale courses so use with care. Middleton Woods: Dec 2011. All the posts are there. Post C, which has caused trouble since it was replaced higher up the hill than the original post, is marked accurately on the downloadable map. A holly bush is no longer hiding Post W. Northcliffe Park & Heaton Woods: Jan 2012. Posts N and R have been removed from the map at the request of the landowners. Please use the updated map by clicking on the link in the table above. |
